life is strange, life is good, life goes on. Blogs are an interesting thing. there are things that go on in my head that really i don't want published to the web. I never kept a diary. However, the thought is oddly compelling. I mean, like many of us, i have a split personality. A better way of putting it, so as to not sound crazy, is to say I am multi-faceted. There are certain parts of me the i have no trouble expressing for all to see, exposing myself as it were. On the other hand, there are also aspects of who I am that are quite private. I am sure this is true with most people. I could on the one hand set up a blog that is totally anonymous, and say whatever I wanted. What purpose would this serve? On the other hand, and I guess the one i am following thus far (3 posts in 6 months or whatever!) is to post things that I don't really mind people knowing about me. On the other other hand (who knew I had 3) who has read this anyway? A conundrum to be sure. Well stay tuned and i will decide just how deep, how personal i want his to go. It is kind of fun and liberating to think you really CAN say exactly whats on your mind, without worry... over and out!

Still here, still nothing to say it would seem... I would REALLY like to get going on this and I think I should really start thing more seriously about what i want to say! Actually I have loads to say, i am an opinionated freak in may ways, but of course my opinions are counter to 99.99% of humanity, and I also feel I am one of the .01% who ACTUALLY have it somewhat figured out...

Just as a flavour of the things I am liable to say, let's talk about the stupid wars going non now, wars of choice I might add and I am getting pretty sick of all of the commentary that suggests this is something we had no control over. Myself being Canadian, the Afgan war is near and dear to my heart. The thing that people basically seem to not realise who support the war, is that the basic unspoken assumption is that WE own the world, and this is what gives us the right to intervene in what ever country we choose. Our intents are by their very nature noble, as WE are undertaking them as opposed to Iran or China or whoever the enemy of the day might be...

Just for Shits and Giggles, lets assume that China suddenly decides that they think the US has overstepped its bounds, and looks like it is trying to take over control of the world, at the very least its most precious resources, oil in particular. One can see how they may possibly come to this conclusion, looking at all the evidence that has amassed out there. They decide that the solution is to bomb and invade the USA. Really this is not so far from what the USA does, but would we all be sitting around accepting it as the natural response to trying to control an out of control regime? In the case of the Afgan invasion this is ok, according to our high standards of when violence and invasions are necessary, why would it be different for China? In any case I digress and leave you with this link:

Here I am

Well, got started on this blog thing more or less by accident, and time will tell whether or not I decide to continue... I need another internet timewaster like a hole in the head, but this one may actually serve more of a purpose than say facebook or MSN! More later with luck...

Cheers!
